A chitosan‐graft‐gelatin hydrogel, incorporating a pH‐responsive dye, bromothymol blue, as a colorimetric freshness indicator is introduced to monitor the spoilage of chicken breasts. The hydrogel indicates microbial activity, and the production of carbon dioxide due to deteriorating food freshness via a change in pH, and serves as a smart and visual ...

Study of removal of ammonia from urine vapor by dual catalyst [PDF]
The feasibility of ammonia removal from urine vapor by a low temperature dual-catalyst system was investigated. The process is based on the initial catalytic oxidation of ammonia present in urine vapor to nitrogen and nitrous oxide, followed by a ...

Borophene‐Based Ultrasensitive and Broadband Photodetectors
The direct growth of χ3‐phase borophene on n‐type silicon wafers leads to superior Schottky junctions, making them ideal for broad‐range, high‐sensitivity photodetectors. These photodetectors demonstrate higher sensitivity and faster response times compared to those fabricated by transferring 2D materials onto silicon to form van der Waals junctions ...

X‐Ray and Electron Spectroscopy of the CdS/(Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)Se2 Interface With RbF Treatment
The chemical and electronic structure of the CdS/(Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 interface with RbF treatment is investigated using a combination of synchrotron‐ and laboratory‐based soft and hard X‐ray spectroscopies. A Rb–In–Se species is found at the absorber surface, with a band gap of 2.8 eV, in contrast to comparable Ag‐free Cu(In,Ga)Se2 absorbers with RbF‐

The role of green ammonia in meeting challenges towards a sustainable development in China [PDF]
This paper discusses the adoption of a green ammonia economy in meeting challenges in China's sustainable development. First, key challenges in China's energy transition, industry decarbonziation and regional sustainable development are explored. The coal-dominated energy consumption has placed great obstacles in achieving energy transition and led to ...
