Estimation of Ammonia Volatilized from Soils [PDF]
ALTHOUGH it has been recognized that a part of the nitrogen in the soil system may be lost in the form of ammonia, the extent of such loss—especially under field conditions—has not yet been satisfactorily determined, largely owing to want of suitable technique. Estimates based on difference in total nitrogen are not sufficiently accurate.

A scalable one‐step copolymerization strategy is developed to produce low‐cost microporous ion exchange membranes that boost both the efficiency and lifespan of flow batteries. When combined with organic electrolytes in aqueous systems, these membranes enable safe and cheap flow battery energy storage, supporting the widespread integration of renewable

Growth of Millimeter‐Sized BaTaO2N Single Crystals by an NH3‐Assisted BaCl2 Flux Method
Millimeter‐sized BaTaO2N single crystals are successfully grown from a BaCl2 flux under NH3 flow. Their comprehensive characterization, including dielectric properties, is demonstrated, and the possible growth mechanisms are discussed. Abstract Perovskite‐type oxynitrides have attracted considerable attention due to their excellent photocatalytic ...
