A Host‐Guest, Zeolite/Organocation Material With Isotropic Zero Thermal Expansion
The use of selected organic structure directing agents for the hydrothermal synthesis of targeted zeolites exhibiting negative thermal expansion provides a straightforward strategy to obtain a new class of host‐guest, nanostructured, crystalline zero thermal expansion materials made of light and abundant elements.

Soil mineral nitrogen availability was unaffected by elevated atmospheric pCO2 in a four year old field experiment (Swiss FACE) [PDF]
The effect of elevated (60 Pa) atmospheric carbon dioxide partial pressure (pCO2) and N fertilisation on the availability of mineral N and on N transformation in the soil of a Lolium perenne L.

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...

This work develops 3D‐printable tribopolymer networks that can enhance triboelectric performance under high humidity environments. Polar hydrophilic functional groups and incorporation of zwitterionic monomers promote bound‐water–dominated interfacial polarization thereby increasing electrical outputs.

Structural and Chemical Engineering of Sub‐Nanochannel Membranes Toward Ion Selectivity
This review summarizes recent advances in structural and chemical engineering of sub‐nanochannels for ion selectivity. We first introduce fundamental ion transport mechanisms within sub‐nanochannels, followed by strategies to tune pore size, geometry, and surface functionalities, categorized into charge‐based, ion‐recognition, hydrophilic bonding, and ...

A 2D heterointerface with a two‐site anchor bridge suppresses nonradiative recombination at the perovskite/C₆₀ interface by reducing surface defects, elevating the Fermi level, and strengthening the electric field. This strategy enables efficient electron extraction, delivering 26.32% efficiency, 1.217 V Voc, excellent operational stability, and broad ...

Ecology and Physiology of Soil Microorganisms in Polar Regions [PDF]
Growth of microorganisms takes place during the short summer season in the Arctic and Antarctic, although some habitats are sterile. Both polar regions may be characterized by low metabolic activity due to a number of factors which are a result of the ...
