Potassium Ammonium Vanadate with Rich Oxygen Vacancies for Fast and Highly Stable Zn-Ion Storage.

ACS Nano, 2022
Vanadium-based materials have been extensively studied as promising cathode materials for zinc-ion batteries because of their multiple valences and adjustable ion-diffusion channels.

Ammonium-Ion Storage in Electrodeposited Manganese Oxides.

Angewandte Chemie, 2020
NH4+ ions as charge carriers show great potential in aqueous rechargeable batteries. Herein, we study for the first time the NH4+ storage chemistry in electrodeposited manganese oxide (MnOx).

Influence of ammonium nitrate on the crystallisation of ammonium sulfate

Environmental Technology, 2023
This study aims to explore the influence mechanism of ammonium nitrate produced by ozone denitrification on the crystallisation of ammonium sulfate, a by-product of ammonia desulfurisation. The laser method was used to study the influence of ammonium nitrate on the solubility and metastable zone width of ammonium sulfate. An experiment on the influence

Enrichment of geogenic ammonium in Quaternary alluvial-lacustrine aquifer systems: Evidence from carbon isotopes and DOM characteristics.

Environmental Science and Technology, 2020
Geogenic ammonium in groundwater owing to mineralization of natural organic matter (NOM) has been reported in different geologic settings, but detailed mechanisms responsible for high ammonium concentration levels are poorly understood.

The vapor phase dissociation of ammonium salts: Ammonium halides, ammonium rhodanide, ammonium nitrate, and ammonium bicarbonate

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1982
Vapor pressures as a function of temperature of the ammonium salts are measured by means of a simultaneous torsion effusion and mass-loss effusion technique. From a theoretical analysis, which is given first, it is shown that the enthalpies of sublimation and the degree of dissociation b in the vapor phase are related to the measured quantities.

Engineering the interplanar spacing of ammonium vanadates as a high-performance aqueous zinc-ion battery cathode

Journal of Materials Chemistry A, 2019
We report a series of ammonium vanadates as cathodes for aqueous ZIBs and provide insights into the origin of the enhanced electrochemical behaviors. The NH4V4O10 compound, with the largest interplanar spacing (9.8 Å), exhibits excellent electrochemical ...

Density and viscosity of ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate–potassium chloride and ammonium nitrate—ammonium phosphate melts

Journal of Applied Chemistry, 1967
AbstractThe results of density and viscosity measurements are given for ammonium nitrate and the salt mixtures ammonium nitrate—potassium chloride and ammonium nitrate‐ammonium dihydrogen phosphate. The latter system is complicated because of the formation of non‐ortho phosphates and the results obtained refer to the equilibrium mixture obtained after ...
