Photodecomposition of ammonium oxalate

The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1976
The ultraviolet induced photodecomposition of ammonium oxalate has been studied. The rate-time plots show an initial deceleration region which leads to a final constant value. The intensity dependence of the photorate can be represented by an equation of the type R = AI + BP.

Incomplete decomposition of ammonium oxalate

Combustion and Flame, 1975
Abstract The thermal decomposition of ammonium oxalate monohydrate is investigated in the temperature range 105 – 130°C and found to be a case of incomplete decomposition. The activation energy is found to be 21.04 kcal. mole −1 . The effects of precompression, doping with PO 4 3− and Cl − ions, particle size and aging on the thermal decomposition

Complex compounds of thorium oxalate with ammonium oxalate

Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences - Section A, 1958
The system thorium oxalate-ammonium oxalate-water has been investigated by physico-chemical methods. A new procedure is adopted in preparing the solution for these studies by the mono-variation method. Data have been presented to prove the existence of two complexes in solution from measurements of electrical resistance, pH and relative viscosity.

Crystalline ammonium uranyl peroxy-oxalate

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1964
Abstract Single crystals of ammonium uranyl peroxy-oxalate [(NH 4 ) 2 UO 4 C 2 O 4 ·3H 2 O] have been prepared. Crystallographic, powder diffraction and optical data are presented for the compound. Thermal decomposition of the compound was studied using differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis.

Thermal decomposition of hafnyl oxalate and ammonium/magnesium hafnyl oxalate

Thermochimica Acta, 1985
Abstract Conditions for the preparation of stoichiometric hafnyl oxalate, HfOC 2 O 4 ·3.5H 2 O, ammonium hafnyl oxalate, (NH 4 ) 2 HfO(C 2 O 4 ) 2 ·3H 2 O and magnesium hafnyl oxalate, MgHfO(C 2 O 4 ) 2 ·7H 2 O have been standardised. The thermal decomposition of these oxalates has been investigated employing thermogravimetric (TG), differential ...
