The ferroelectric phase transition in ammonium sulphate
Chemical Physics Letters, 1973Abstract On the basis of the temperature dependence of typical internal modes associated with SO 2− 4 and NH + 4 ions it is inferred that the ferroelectric phase transition near 223°K in ammonium sulphate in primarily due to sudden distortions in the SO 2− 4 ions.
