Crystallization of Fe80P13C7 amorphous alloy powder

Journal of Materials Science Letters, 1990
In this letter, we describe the crystallization process of amorphous alloy powder. The phase transition from amorphous to crystalline was observed using a differential thermal analyser (DTA) and a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The crystal structure was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) with Mo-K radiation.

Amorphous magnetic powders — Some special peculiarities

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1988
Abstract The amorphous powders prepared by a high-rate borohydride reduction process propose the possibility for some principal conclusions concerning the occurence of closest packing of the monodomain magnetic globules. The simulataneous nitrogenation, pressing and determination of the thermal effects of crystallization provided for both kinds of ...

Amorphous fine-particle Ni-B powders

Inorganic Materials, 2000
The chemical reduction of Ni2+ by aqueous sodium borohydride yields fine-particle Ni-B powders containing 11 to 43 at. % B, depending on solution composition and precipitation temperature. The crystallization processes induced by heating the powders depend significantly on boron content.

Study on Amorphous Silica Powder Properties

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
In this paper amorphous silica powder properties are analyzed and studied. It shows that precipitated silica has larger specific surface area, higher absorption value, higher whiteness and lower bulk density. Different usage of amorphous silica has different properties and different particle size. The order of particle size is that precipitation silica

Comparative study on sintering behavior of Al86Ni6Y4.5Co2La1.5 mechanically alloyed amorphous powder and melt-spun ribbon

Advanced Powder Technology, 2019
In this research work, the sintering characteristics of Al86Ni6Y4.5Co2La1.5 mechanically alloyed amorphous powders and milled melt spun ribbon have been compared. Mechanically alloyed amorphous powders were synthesized via 200 h high energy ball milling.

Regular Cu-based amorphous alloy powder

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2010
Abstract The plate-like powder of Cu 60 Zr 30 Ti 10 amorphous alloy was prepared by ball milling. The amorphization and deformation mechanisms and thermodynamic properties were also investigated. The powders are milled into plate-like powders and their thicknesses decrease with increasing of milling time.

FeSiBCrC amorphous magnetic powder fabricated by gas-water combined atomization

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2020
Amorphous soft magnetic composites have been attracting attention because of its low core loss under high frequency application. It is demanded that the powder for fabricating amorphous soft magnetic composites has amorphous structure and nearly ...
