Prevalence of resistance to some beta-lactams among commensal canine E. coli isolates [PDF]
The sensitivity of 80 E. coli strains isolated from canine rectal swabs to antimicrobial drugs was tested in this study. The results showed 47.5% resistance to ampicillin, 18.7% to the combination amoxicillin/clavulanic acid and 6.2% to cephalothin.
