Influence of Ploidy and Genetic Background on Stress Tolerance of Intraspecific Yeast Hybrids
Microbial Biotechnology, Volume 19, Issue 3, March 2026.A large set of intraspecific yeast hybrids was constructed using two strategies that yielded series of hybrids with variable ploidy. Phenotyping of the hybrids was carried out in high‐stress media to assess the effects of ploidy and genetic background on heterosis.
