Aged Gut Microbiota Contributes to Cognitive Impairment and Hippocampal Synapse Loss in Mice
Li et al. revealed that aged gut microbiota induces cognitive decline and microglia‐mediated synapse loss. Fecal Bifidobacterium pseudolongum abundance was reduced in patients with cognitive impairment and microbiota transplantation from patients with fewer B.p abundance yielded worse cognitive behavior in mice.

We investigated the mechanisms by which a previously established VLP‐based anti‐IgE vaccine protects against allergic anaphylaxis. We show that passively administered vaccine‐induced IgGs into allergic mice protects them from anaphylaxis without side effects.

ABSTRACT The objective was to investigate the effectiveness of anidulafungin (ANI), voriconazole (VOR), and amphotericin (AMB) combined with meropenem against dual biofilms of Candida albicans and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, as well as with daptomycin against dual biofilms of C. albicans–Staphylococcus epidermidis. MIC values of antifungals were determined

Abstract Background and Purpose Congenital long QT syndrome (LQTS) involves genetic mutations affecting ion channels, leading to a prolonged QT interval and increased risk of potentially lethal ventricular arrhythmias. Mutations in the genes encoding KV7.1/KCNE1 are the most frequent, with channel loss‐of‐function contributing to LQTS.
