Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) Analysis of Listeria monocytogenes
Systematic and Applied Microbiology, 2000AFLP analysis using four selective primers was performed on a set of 33 Listeria monocytogenes including strains from patients and foods implicated in outbreaks, human sporadic cases or foods. Strains were tested belonging to serovars 1/2a, 1/2b, 1/2c, 3b, and 4b.

Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) Analysis of Listeria monocytogenes
Systematic and Applied Microbiology, 2002An agarose gel based single enzyme AFLP method using EcoR1 digestion of Listeria monocytogenes DNA was developed for epidemiological typing. The method was evaluated with 84 L. monocytogenes cultures, and results were compared with those obtained with serotyping, phage-typing and cadmium and arsenic resistance typing.

Amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis of vandaceous orchids
Plant Science, 1999Abstract We investigated the application of the PCR-based fingerprinting technique, amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP), in orchids. The optimal AFLP patterns have been determined using primer combinations of EcoRI +4 and MseI +3 selective nucleotides. The same reproducible AFLP patterns were demonstrated in genomic DNAs isolated both from:

Amplified (Restriction) Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP) Analysis
2004The amplified (restriction) fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) technique is a method for DNA profiling that is now widely applied for assessing diversity among various organisms with varying genomic complexity, from small bacterial to large plant genomes.

Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism Analysis of Salmonella enterica
2007Amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) is a powerful PCR-based fingerprinting method and has the capacity to reveal variation around the whole genome by selectively amplifying a subset of restriction fragments for comparison. The restriction fragments analyzed are small, and even mutation of 1 bp can be detected.

Amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis in diploid cultivars of rhodesgrass
Plant Breeding, 2001AbstractThe amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) technique was applied to detect genetic variation in a sample of 47 plants representing 12 diploid cultivars of rhodesgrass. In this analysis, 50±91 easily scorable fragments could be detected in a single reaction.

AbstractThis study compares the properties of dominant markers, such as amplified fragment length polymorphisms (AFLPs), with those of codominant multiallelic markers, such as microsatellites, in reconstructing parentage. These two types of markers were used to search for both parents of an individual without prior knowledge of their relationships, by ...

HLA DPB1 genotyping in Australian aborigines by amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis
Human Immunology, 1993The HLA-DPB1 alleles in 93 Australian aborigines, from two geographically separate areas within Australia, were studied by AFLP analysis. There was a restricted range of DPB1 alleles seen in the aboriginal population, and the distribution of alleles varied between the two aboriginal groups.

Amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis to assess genetic diversity in rice
Vegetos, 2019Amplified Fragment Length polymorphism (AFLP) was studied involving 48 diverse rice genotypes, comprising of indica, japonica, and Tongil type (indica × japonica) varieties to assess the genetic diversity. Initially 64 primer pair combinations were screened of which 5 were found to be suitable producing clear fragments (35–500 bp).
