Static hybrid amplify and forward (AF) and decode and forward (DF) relaying for cooperative systems

Physical Communication, 2011
Abstract In this paper, we propose a static hybrid amplify and forward (AF) and decode and forward (DF) relaying protocol for cooperative systems. In such a scheme, relays close to the source amplify the received signal whereas the remaining relays transmit only if they decode correctly.

Automatic modulation classification over MIMO amplify and forward (AF)-relay fading channels

Physical Communication, 2021
Abstract Automatic Modulation Classification (AMC) plays an important role in many civilian applications such as spectrum monitoring (SM) and cognitive radio (CR). The majority of the AMC algorithms for MIMO systems are developed for rich scattering environments, which offer a full rank channel matrix.

Performance of a Joint PAPR Reduction Clipping and Filtering (CF) Scheme and Predistortion Techniques in Amplify and Forward (AF) Relaying System with Relay Selection Strategy

2021 International Electronics Symposium (IES), 2021
The joint PAPR reduction and predistortion technique is the one solution to remove the nonlinear distortions of nonlinear high-power amplifier (HPA) and to increase the power efficiency. This paper can be used as a reference for the development of LTE network in future research.

Evaluation of the PTS PAPR Reduction Technique with the Hammerstein-Wiener Predistortion Model in Amplify-and-Forward (AF), Decode-and-Forward (DF) Relaying Systems over Asymmetric Channels

2021 International Electronics Symposium (IES), 2021
In this paper, we propose and evaluate the joint PAPR reduction with Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS) scheme and predistortion technique at source in cooperative communication systems based Amplify-and-Forward (AF), Decode-and-Forward (DF) protocol over asymmetric channel.

Performance evaluation of a flexible amplify and forward (AF) combined with HARQ

21st Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2010
A Hybrid ARQ (HARQ) scheme employing a flexible amplify and forward (AF) relaying is considered for a cooperative relay channel. Two phase types with flexible length: one phase for relay reception and another phase for relay forwarding are assumed to accommodate half duplex relaying.
