Performance analysis of control allocation using data‐driven integral quadratic constraints
Abstract A new method is presented for evaluating the performance of a nonlinear control allocation system within a linear control loop. To that end, a worst‐case gain analysis problem is formulated that can be readily solved by means of well‐established methods from robustness analysis using integral quadratic constraints (IQCs).

AMBIENT SEISMIC NOISE FOOTPRINTS AND SPECTRA IN THE MIDDLE BENUE TROUGH, NIGERIA
Ambient noise was analysed from a two-dimensional (2D) seismic data acquired in the Middle Benue Trough, Nigeria for the purpose of characterizing the ambient seismic noise.

High-Amplitude gamma Doradus Variables [PDF]
According to most literature sources, the amplitude of the pulsational variability observed in gamma Doradus stars does not exceed 0.1 mag in Johnson V. We have analyzed fifteen high-amplitude gamma Doradus stars with photometric peak-to-peak amplitudes well beyond this limit, with the aim of unraveling the mechanisms behind the observed high ...

Lectures on celestial amplitudes [PDF]
AbstractLecture notes prepared for the 2021 SAGEX PhD School in Amplitudes hosted by the University of Copenhagen August 10th through 13th. Topics covered include: the manifestation of asymptotic symmetries via soft theorems, their organization into currents in a celestial CFT, aspects of the holographic dictionary, a literature guide, and accompanying

Quantum Amplitude Amplification and Estimation [PDF]
Consider a Boolean function $\chi: X \to \{0,1\}$ that partitions set $X$ between its good and bad elements, where $x$ is good if $\chi(x)=1$ and bad otherwise. Consider also a quantum algorithm $\mathcal A$ such that $A |0\rangle= \sum_{x\in X} \alpha_x

The advancement of the methods of vibro-acoustic control of the ICE gas distribution mechanism [PDF]
A modern vehicle is a system of high-precision systems. In particular, over the past 20 years, the gas distribution mechanism (GRM) has been structurally released from any adjustments.

Ample filters and Frobenius amplitude [PDF]
Let $X$ be a projective scheme over a field. We show that the vanishing cohomology of any sequence of coherent sheaves is closely related to vanishing under pullbacks by the Frobenius morphism.

Superstring amplitudes and the associator [PDF]
Abstract We investigate a pattern in the α′ expansion of tree-level open superstring amplitudes which correlates the appearance of higher depth multiple zeta values with that of simple zeta values in a particular way. We rephrase this relationship in terms of the coaction on motivic multiple zeta values and show that the pattern ...

The pion-pion scattering amplitude [PDF]
We obtain reliable $\pi\pi$ scattering amplitudes consistent with experimental data, both at low and high energies, and fulfilling appropriate analyticity properties. We do this by first fitting experimental low energy ($s^{1/2}\leq1.42 {\rm GeV}$) phase
