The antithiamine effects of amprolium in rats on tissue transketolase activity

Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, 1964
Summary The feeding of amprolium to thiamine-adequate rats at a dietary level of 10,000 ppm (approximately 80 times the effective coccidiostat level for chicks) resulted in depressed transketolase activity in erythrocyte hemolyzates and in homogenates of liver, kidney, heart, and intestine.
