Associations between body composition and hospitalization in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis

Hospitalization was associated with decreased muscle mass and phase angle and with volume overload. Strategies such as volume control, rehabilitation, and nutritional support may help preserve body composition in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.
