Environmental Preferences and Functional Variations of Methanotrophs in Northeast Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau Wetlands

Significant environmental preference between type I and type II methanotrophs is regulated by soil ion concentration (pH and electrical conductivity) in wetlands. Type II methanotrophs (Methylocystis, etc.) contributes more to soil methane oxidation than type I methanotrophs.

Genomic Survey of Carbon Monoxide Dehydrogenases Reveals Their Widespread Distribution in Marine Habitats

Protein sequence surveys show that nickel‐ and molybdenum/copper‐containing carbon monoxide dehydrogenases (CODHs) are widespread in the ocean. Phylogenetic and genome context analyses reveal that marine CODHs are highly diverse in both evolutionary history and functional organisation.

Environmentally adjusted productivity growth and shadow prices for dairy farms

Abstract We estimate the environmentally adjusted productivity growth and shadow price for Ontario dairy farms. We use an input‐oriented directional distance function and farm‐level data from 2000 to 2020. First, we find that while GHG emissions per cow increase with higher milk yields, emission intensity decreases as milk yield per cow increases.
