Model of Conservation on Sagara Anakan Environment

open access: yesForum Geografi, 2013
Widespread decline in agricultural land and the impact on production decline caused extensive forest activities to meet the needs of the population. Activities that cause less environmental quality offset environmental balance changes.

GENETIC VARIABILITY OF POLYMESODA EROSA POPULATION IN THE SEGARA ANAKAN CILACAP

open access: yesBiotropia: The Southeast Asian Journal of Tropical Biology, 2010
Mud clams, Polymesoda erosa, in the Segara Anakan Cilacap are highly exploited by the local communities for daily consumption. This is presumed causing population decline and potentially causing loss of genetic diversity.

AMMI Automatic Mangrove Map and Index: Novelty for Efficiently Monitoring Mangrove Changes with the Case Study in Musi Delta, South Sumatra, Indonesia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Forestry Research, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Mapping mangroves using satellite imagery has been done for decades. It helps reduce obstacles in inaccessible places caused by the mangroves’ intricate root system, thick mud, and loss of position signals. There is an urgent need to produce a mangrove map that automatically and accurately covers the mangroves with the density index of the canopy as ...

Intertwined effects of climate and land use change on environmental dynamics and carbon accumulation in a mangrove‐fringed coastal lagoon in Java, Indonesia

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology, Volume 26, Issue 3, Page 1414-1431, March 2020., 2020
Our interdisciplinary research reveals that the interaction between climate and human activities controlled the Segara Anakan Lagoon’s (SAL) carbon‐environmental dynamic by changing its sediment supply and salinity, hence altered the organic matter composition and deposition.
