Pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronis (GGK) yang menjalani hemodialisis akan mengalami komplikasi anemia, maka membutuhkan terapi anemia yaitu terapi tunggal Asam Folat dan terapi kombinasi Asam Folat –Eritropoietin (EPO). Meskipun terdapat perbedaan dari segi biaya dan efektivitas, keduanya masih menjadi pilihan utama dalam pengobatan.
