Printed Integrated Logic Circuits Based on Chitosan‐Gated Organic Transistors for Future Edible Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Analog-digital conversion of speech signal

open access: yes
U ovom radu se opisuje analogno-digitalna pretvorba govornih signala. Analogni i digitalni signali su dva glavna oblika signala koja se koriste u elektronici. Analogno-digitalni pretvornici su nužne komponente mnogih digitalnih sustava.

A 1.1-nJ/Classification True Analog Current Computing on Multilayer Neural Network With Crystalline-IGZO/Si-CMOS Monolithic Stack Technology

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society
We prototyped a true analog current computing multilayer neural network (NN) chip, where multiple analog in-memory computing (AiMC) circuit blocks are connected to each other via simple analog non-linear operation circuits.

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

50 YEARS OF INTEGRATING ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTERS

open access: yesИзмерение, мониторинг, управление, контроль
Background. This article examines the fifty-year history of the theoretical development and refinement ofone of the most common classes of analog-to-digital converters, whose distinguishing feature is the use of a closed-loopstructure with integrators in

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Low-Cost Universal Multi-Mode Digital Compensator Design for Flyback Converters With Full Digital Feedback

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study presents a low-cost digital compensator design for a flyback converter featuring a full digital feedback loop. This design replaces the traditional analog compensation circuit with a digital compensator, where the external resistance and ...

Multistep optimal analog-to-digital conversion

open access: yes
An important aspect of analog-to-digital conversion is the impact of quantization errors. This paper outlines how finite horizon constrained optimization methods can be utilized to design converters which minimize a weighted measure of the quantization ...
