An Improved 4H-SiC Trench MOS Barrier Schottky Diode With Lower On-Resistance

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
An improved 4H-SiC trench MOS barrier Schottky (TMBS) structure that can significantly reduce the specific on-resistance ( $R_{on,sp}$ ) is proposed in this paper.

MOCA ARM: Analog Reliability Measurement based on Monte Carlo Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Innovations, 2016
Due to the expected increase of defects in circuits based on deep submicron technologies, reliability has become an important design criterion. Although different approaches have been developed to estimate reliability in digital circuits and some ...

An Introduction to High Sample Rate Nyquist Analog-to-Digital Converters

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Solid-State Circuits Society, 2022
Increasingly wider band analog signals found in multiple information and communication technology applications, requiring real-time digital signal processing, demand analog-to-digital converters with ever higher sample rate. Several innovative techniques,

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Approximate analog computing with metatronic circuits

open access: yesCommunications Physics, 2021
All-optical platforms hold potential for fast and efficient analog computing, but are limited by their size and poor reconfigurability. Here, a zero-index nanophotonic platform enables post-Moore’s law analog optical computing, processing data with high ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
