A posteriori error analysis for optimization with PDE constraints
We consider finite element solutions to optimization problems, where the state depends on the possibly constrained control through a linear partial differential equation. Basing upon a reduced and rescaled optimality system, we derive a posteriori bounds capturing the approximation of the state, the adjoint state, the control and the observation.

Cilostazol in patients with heart failure and preserved ejection fraction—The CLIP‐HFpEF trial
• Cilostazol is an oral PDE‐3 inhibitor that may have advantageous effects in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). • Cilostazol significantly improved short‐term heart failure‐related health status scores (KCCQ‐12) and NT‐proBNP levels when compared to placebo.

Learning image derived PDE-phenotypes from fMRI data
Partial differential equations (PDEs) model various physical phenomena, such as electromagnetic fields and fluid mechanics. Methods such as sparse identification of nonlinear dynamics (SINDy) and PDE-Net 2.0 have been developed to identify and model PDEs

Inherited metabolic epilepsies–established diseases, new approaches
Abstract Inherited metabolic epilepsies (IMEs) represent the inherited metabolic disorders (IMDs) in which epilepsy is a prevailing component, often determining other neurodevelopmental outcomes associated with the disorder. The different metabolic pathways affected by individual IMEs are the basis of their rarity and heterogeneity.

Precision therapies for genetic epilepsies in 2025: Promises and pitfalls
Abstract By targeting the underlying etiology, precision therapies offer an exciting paradigm shift to improve the stagnant outcomes of drug‐resistant epilepsies, including developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. Unlike conventional antiseizure medications (ASMs) which only treat the symptoms (seizures) but have no effect on the underlying ...
