Uniqueness of analytic continuation: Necessary and sufficient conditions
Necessary and sufficient conditions for uniqueness of analytic continuation are investigated for a system of m ⩾ 1 first-order linear homogeneous partial differential equations in one unknown, with complex-valued b∞ coefficients, in some connected open ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Analytic continuation of solutions of some nonlinear convolution partial differential equations [PDF]
The paper considers a problem of analytic continuation of solutions of some nonlinear convolution partial differential equations which naturally appear in the summability theory of formal solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Analytic continuation and the giant graviton expansion
There is now strong evidence that the superconformal index of holographic gauge theories admits a giant graviton expansion capturing the worldvolume dynamics of spherical D3-branes moving in internal space. While the giant graviton indices may be written

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Analytic Continuation of Euler Polynomials and the Euler Zeta Function
We study that the Euler numbers En and Euler polynomials Enz are analytically continued to Es and E(s,w). We investigate the new concept of dynamics of the zeros of analytica continued polynomials.

Numerical analytic continuation: Answers to well-posed questions [PDF]
We formulate the problem of numerical analytic continuation in a way that lets us draw meaningful conclusions about the properties of the spectral function based solely on the input data.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
