Bound on the central charge of CFTs in large dimension

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
In this paper, we use crossing symmetry and unitarity constraints to put a lower bound on the central charge of conformal field theories in large space-time dimensions D.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

KINETIC ENERGY FUNCTIONALS: EXACT ONES FROM ANALYTIC MODEL WAVE FUNCTIONS AND APPROXIMATE ONES IN ORBITAL-FREE MOLECULAR DYNAMICS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We consider the problem of constructing kinetic energy functionals in density functional theory. We first discuss the functional generated through the application of local-scaling transformations to the exact analytic wavefunctions for the Hookean model

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Useful Dual Functional of Entropic Information Measures

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
There are entropic functionals galore, but not simple objective measures to distinguish between them. We remedy this situation here by appeal to Born’s proposal, of almost a hundred years ago, that the square modulus of any wave function | ψ | 2

On a Class of A-Analytic Functions

open access: yesJournal of Siberian Federal University. Mathematics & Physics, 2016
Summary: We consider \(A\)-analytic functions in case when \(A\) is anti-holomorphic function. In paper for \(A\)-analytic functions the integral theorem of Cauchy, integral formula of Cauchy, expansion to Taylor series, expansion to Loran series, Picard's big theorem and Montel's theorem are proved.

Uniqueness Classes for Difference Functionals [PDF]

open access: yes, 1966
If ﹛Ln﹜ is a sequence of linear functionals on a linear space C of functions to the complex numbers, then a subspace C1 ⊂ C is a uniqueness class for ﹛Ln﹜ if a function f in C1 is uniquely determined by the sequence ﹛Ln(f)﹜ of complex numbers; i.e., if f
