Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

Solution of one hypersingular integro-differential equation defined by determinants
The paper provides an exact analytical solution to a hypersingular inregro-differential equation of arbitrary order. The equation is defined on a closed curve in the complex plane.

ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

Continuation and Bifurcation of Grain Boundaries in the Swift-Hohenberg Equation [PDF]
We study grain boundaries between striped phases in the prototypical Swift-Hohenberg equation. We propose an analytical and numerical far-field-core decomposition that allows us to study existence and bifurcations of grain boundaries analytically and ...

ABSTRACT Background Psychological safety (PS) is essential for teamwork, communication, and patient safety in complex healthcare environments. In pediatric oncology, interprofessional collaboration occurs under high emotional and organizational demands. Low PS may increase stress, burnout, and adverse events.

Overlaps after quantum quenches in the sine-Gordon model
We present a numerical computation of overlaps in mass quenches in sine-Gordon quantum field theory using truncated conformal space approach (TCSA). To improve the cut-off dependence of the method, we use a novel running coupling definition which has a ...

O(n) vector model at n=-1, -2 on random planar lattices: a direct combinatorial derivation
The O(n) vector model with logarithmic action on a lattice of coordination 3 is related to a gas of self-avoiding loops on the lattice. This formulation allows for analytical continuation in n: critical behaviour is found in the real interval [-2,2]. The

ABSTRACT Background B‐acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, and while most children in high‐resource settings are cured, therapy carries risks for long‐term toxicities. Understanding parents’ concerns about these late effects is essential to guide anticipatory support and inform evolving therapeutic approaches ...

Quasinormal modes and the analytical continuation of non-self-adjoint operators
We briefly review the analytical continuation method for determining quasinormal modes (QNMs) and the associated frequencies in open systems. We explore two exactly solvable cases based on the Pöschl–Teller potential to show that the analytical ...
