Analytical ground state for the three-band Hubbard model
For the calculation of charge excitations as those observed in, e.g., photo-emission spectroscopy or in electron-energy loss spectroscopy, a correct description of ground-state charge properties is essential.

Analytical solution for the lattice Boltzmann model beyond Naviers-Stokes [PDF]
To understand lattice Boltzmann model capability for capturing nonequilibrium effects, the model with first-order expansion of the equilibrium distribution function is analytically investigated.

Analytical Study on the Breakdown Characteristics of Si-Substrated AlGaN/GaN HEMTs With Field Plates
The breakdown voltage model of Si-substrated AlGaN/GaN HEMTs with gate and drain field plates is proposed in this work. The silicon substrate and GaN buffer are considered as the depletion region in the modeling process.

An analytical model of radial dust trapping in protoplanetary disks
We study dust concentration in axisymmetric gas rings in protoplanetary disks. Given the gas surface density, we derived an analytical total dust surface density by taking into account the differential concentration of all the grain sizes.

Model waveform accuracy standards for gravitational wave data analysis [PDF]
Model waveforms are used in gravitational wave data analysis to detect and then to measure the properties of a source by matching the model waveforms to the signal from a detector.

ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment and exercise intolerance are common in dialysis patients. Cerebral perfusion and oxygenation play a major role in both cognitive function and exercise execution; HD session per se aggravates cerebral ischemia in this population. This study aimed to compare cerebral oxygenation and perfusion at rest and in mild

A Simple Analytical Model for Gaps in Protoplanetary Disks
An analytical model is presented for calculating the surface density as a function of radius $\Sigma(r)$ in protoplanetary disks in which a planet has opened a gap. This model is also applicable to circumbinary disks with extreme binary mass ratios.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...
