Fish Allergenicity Ladder and Parvalbumin Epitopes for Predicting Clinical Cross‐Reactivity and Reintroduction in Chinese Population

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Clinical history including self‐reported history and oral food challenge outcome, and sIgE sensitization profile of 200 subjects with suspected fish allergy was analyzed to construct a 3‐step fish allergenicity ladder. The allergenicity ladder was positively linked to the relative parvalbumin content of fish muscle but not to differences in the IgE ...

Endotypes in Immune Mediated Drug Reactions: Present and Future of Relevant Biomarkers. An EAACI Task Force Report

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drug‐induced immune reactions are an important burden for patients and health systems. They can be classified into immediate‐drug hypersensitivity reactions (IDHRs) and delayed‐DHRs (DDHRs) based on their phenotype. Drugs do not always behave as allergens and need to bind to proteins, forming adducts.

Induction Camrelizumab and Modified TPF (Nab‐Paclitaxel, Cisplatin, and S‐1) in Locoregionally Advanced Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Induction chemo‐immunotherapy has emerged as a potential treatment option for locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (LANPC). This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with modified TPF (nab‐paclitaxel, cisplatin, and S‐1) as induction chemo‐immunotherapy in LANPC.

Penicillin Allergy in China: Consequences of Inappropriate Skin Testing Practices and Policies

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Allergy, EarlyView.
There are significant variations in practice and implementation of penicillin skin testing within China and worldwide. Indiscriminate and ‘pre‐emptive’ skin testing practices in China significantly exacerbate penicillin allergy mislabelling, and global cooperation for advancing modern penicillin allergy diagnosis is urgently needed.
