Anaplasia in Pilocytic Astrocytoma Predicts Aggressive Behavior

American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 2010

c-Myc Overexpression Causes Anaplasia in Medulloblastoma

Cancer Research, 2006
AbstractBoth anaplasia and increased c-myc gene expression have been shown to be negative prognostic indicators for survival in medulloblastoma patients. myc gene amplification has been identified in many large cell/anaplastic medulloblastoma, but no causative link between c-myc and anaplastic changes has been established.

Vincristine, Irinotecan, and Bevacizumab in Relapsed Wilms Tumor With Diffuse Anaplasia

Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, 2018
The prognosis of relapsed Wilms tumor (WT) with diffuse anaplasia is dismal, therefore, novel therapeutic strategies need to be explored. We reported on 2 consecutive cases with relapsed anaplastic WT who presented a partial response after 2 courses of vincristine, irinotecan, and bevacizumab association.

Leukemic Anaplasias Reflecting Physiologic Cytogenesis of Myeloid System

1976
Naphthol AS-D chloroacetatesterase activity in peripheral blood granulocytes is confined to neutrophils which are all positive and to a minor part of monocytes. Its occurance in eosinophils and basophils indicate a myeloproliferative disease. This chemical property can reliably be applied to separate neoplastic from reactive forms of quantitative and ...
