Tick control prevents carcass condemnations in lambs caused by Anaplasma ovis. [PDF]
Abstract Ovine anaplasmosis is causing relevant economic losses in Spain due to icteric carcass condemnation in lambs. Anaplasma ovis infection occurs through grazing sheep that transfer ticks to their offspring.

First report of Anaplasma marginale and Anaplasma ovis in goats in Kelantan, Malaysia [PDF]
Anaplasma species are obligate rickettsial intraerythrocytic pathogens that cause an important tick-borne disease of economic importance in livestock production in many countries. Anaplasma species have been detected from farm animals worldwide, there is a paucity of information on Anaplasma infections in goats from Malaysia.

Molecular detection of Anaplasma species in blood and ticks from wild ruminants in East Azerbaijan Province, Iran [PDF]
Tick-borne pathogens pose significant threats to wildlife health and may serve as sources of zoonotic infections. This study aimed to investigate the occurrence of Anaplasma spp., particularly Anaplasma ovis, in blood and tick samples from wild goats ...

Molecular detection and characterization of Anaplasma ovis, Theileria ovis, and Theileria lestoquardi in sheep and goats in Luxor, Egypt. [PDF]
Abstract Background Tick-borne diseases cause economically significant losses to animal production globally, and anaplasmosis and theileriosis are associated with the greatest losses. However, the spread of the relevant pathogens in flocks of domesticated animals in southern Egypt is little understood.

Fatal bovine anaplasmosis in a herd with new genotypes of Anaplasma marginale, Anaplasma ovis and concurrent haemoplasmosis [PDF]
Haematological and molecular analysis of blood samples was carried out during an outbreak of bovine anaplasmosis in Hungary. Acute disease was observed in five animals, two of which died. Anaplasma-carrier state was diagnosed in 69 (92%) of cattle.
