Improved Performance and Stability of Perovskite Solar Cells by Incorporating Silicon Quantum Dots within the FAPbI3 Active Layer

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 36, September 23, 2025.
A hybrid perovskite of FAPbI3 with surface‐engineered Si quantum dots (SiQDs, ≈2 nm) shows enhanced carrier transport, reduced surface defects, and modified Fermi level and bandgap. SiQDs are mostly integrated within the perovskite film, and the perovskite lattice serves as a scaffold for the integration of the QDs.

Increasing Shelf‐Life and Reducing Postharvest Loss of Nutrient‐Rich Foods: An Assessment of the Potential for Solar Chimney Dryers in Rural Bangladesh

open access: yesFood and Energy Security, Volume 14, Issue 5, September/October 2025.
ABSTRACT Postharvest food losses represent a significant challenge worldwide. Enhanced solar drying technologies are a promising way to reduce losses of perishable foods, thereby enhancing accessibility and potentially increasing dietary diversity. This paper assesses the field‐level performance of one chimney dryer design used for drying vegetables ...

Study of vehicle-terrain interaction based on ANCF

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2017
A brief review of the empirical and analytical models are presented. The pressure-sinkage relationship proposed by Bekker and the tractive performance (drawbar pull-slip) of vehicle is set up. A figure of drawbar pull vs. slip at different time and slip is illustrated.

FENet: A Physics‐Informed Dynamics Prediction Model of Pantograph‐Catenary Systems in Electric Railway

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
In this manuscript, we proposed physics‐informed surrogate model, called FENet, for the first time to solve the interaction of pantograph‐catenary system. In recent years, much progress has been achieved in PCS modelling solutions. Existing solutions, however, suffer from two significant limitations: 1) An urgent concern arises regarding the ...
