Sub‐Diffraction Nanolithography of Halide Perovskite via Reversible All‐Optical Crystallization–Decomposition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
A reversible, all‐optical modulation strategy enables resist‐free, sub‐diffraction nanolithography of halide perovskite films. Leveraging 800 nm fs laser‐induced crystallization and 365 nm laser driven decomposition, reconfigurable patterning achieves feature sizes down to 93.5 nm. This chemistry‐free approach offers dynamic control over optoelectronic

An Ultra‐Reliable and Highly Sensitive Flexible Piezoelectric Pressure Sensor Based on Vertically Aligned Gallium Nitride Microrod Arrays on Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 15, 4 August 2026.
A flexible and highly reliable piezoelectric pressure sensor based on GaN p–n homojunction microrod arrays on graphene is demonstrated. The sensor exhibits high sensitivity, rapid response, excellent cyclic durability, and stable performance after thermal aging and PBS immersion, highlighting its potential for harsh‐environment and biomedical pressure ...

Interplay Between Bound State in the Continuum and the Generalized Kerker Effect in Plasmonic Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
A plasmonic metasurface comprising gold cylinders of tailored dimensions exhibits simultaneously the generalized Kerker effect and a bound state in the continuum, allowing for a detailed study of the subtle interplay between these phenomena. The numerical simulation results are in good agreement with experimental measurements, and the underlying ...

Developmentally Inspired Bioprinting of Nascent Multicellular Human Heart Tissue Through In Situ Differentiation and Morphogenesis of iPSCs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 45, 13 August 2026.
A developmentally inspired bioprinting approach enables the fabrication of pluripotent tissues that undergo shape‐morphing and in situ cardiac lineage specification. This method employs embedded bioprinting to deposit iPSCs within soft granular hydrogels to create pluripotent tissue constructs that undergo cell‐mediated shape morphogenesis.
