Quinolones modulate ghrelin receptor signaling: potential for a novel small molecule scaffold in the treatment of cachexia [PDF]
Cachexia is a metabolic wasting disorder characterized by progressive weight loss, muscle atrophy, fatigue, weakness, and appetite loss. Cachexia is associated with almost all major chronic illnesses including cancer, heart failure, obstructive ...

Bioconcentration and toxicity of 22 substituted nitrobenzene and aniline compounds to aquatic organisms were assessed with quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR). Acute toxicities of aquatic organisms, including daphnia (Daphnia pulex) and carp (Cyprinus carpio), to 22 chemicals have been determined in our previous work. In this study, the

Schematic illustration demonstrating that hepatic Mettl3 depletion significantly elevates the secretion of Mif and Csf1. This elevation facilitates Trem2+ macrophage infiltration and triggers cholangiocyte remodeling through the Spp1‐Cd44 interaction, resulting in spontaneous PSC development in vivo.

Pot, atom and step economic (PASE) synthesis of highly functionalized piperidines: a five-component condensation [PDF]
The diastereoselective pot, atom and step economic (PASE) synthesis of highly functionalized piperidines has been realized. The procedure simply involves mixing methyl acetoacetate, 2 equiv of aldehyde and 2 equiv of aniline together in the presence of ...

Scope and Mechanistic Study of the Ruthenium-Catalyzed \u3cem\u3eortho\u3c/em\u3e-C−H Bond Activation and Cyclization Reactions of Arylamines with Terminal Alkynes [PDF]
The cationic ruthenium hydride complex [(PCy3)2(CO)(CH3CN)2RuH]+BF4- was found to be a highly effective catalyst for the C−H bond activation reaction of arylamines and terminal alkynes.

This study reveals that photothermal therapy, while inducing immunogenic cell death in triple‐negative breast cancer, paradoxically activates the oncogenic mTOR pathway to drive immune evasion. To counter this, a smart nanocomposite is engineered to co‐deliver localized hyperthermia and mTOR inhibition.

Palladium Catalyzed Reactions of 2-Nitroaniline with Vinylethers
A new method for the synthesis of hemiaminal ether have been suggested. The reactions of 2-nitro aniline with vinyl ether in the presence of PdCl2(CH3CN)2 produces hemiaminal ether compounds. The resulting products have been identified by spectral data.

Adsorption of phenol/tyrosol from aqueous solutions on macro-reticular aromatic and macro-porous polystyrene cross-linked with divinylbenzene polymeric resins [PDF]
The current work aims at separating by adsorption of low-molecular-weight organic compounds in a nanofiltration concentrate of the olive mill wastewaters. The experimental investigations on adsorption of phenol/tyrosol in single and binary systems were

This study presents an intravesical delivery strategy of ferroptosis‐ and immunity‐inducing nanozyme‐loaded thermoresponsive hydrogels (FMCC@PNH) for enhanced bladder cancer therapy. Abstract Current intravesical therapies for bladder cancer after resection are limited by poor tissue penetration, off‐target effects, and insufficient efficacy.
