A Universal Metal–Flavonoid Coating Strategy: Engineering Biomaterials for Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Construction of metal–flavonoid functionalized coatings on conventional bone repair materials. A one‐pot method is used to directly construct multifunctional metal–flavonoid coatings on the surface of traditional bone repair materials by selecting metal ions with osteogenic/angiogenic properties and flavonoids with reactive oxygen species scavenging ...

Predictive, Data‐Driven Design of Red‐Light Photoredox Catalysts for C─Heteroatom Bond Formation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
From redox numbers to red light: Donor oxidation and core reduction potentials predict E0‐0 in cyanoarene dyes, guiding selection of an efficient red‐light catalyst, 4MeODPATPN (PC13). Under 620 nm light, PC13 facilitates Ni‐catalyzed C─heteroatom cross‐couplings (C─N, C─O, C─S) with high functional‐group tolerance and reduced hydrodehalogenation ...

Aggregation‐Induced Resonance Energy Transfer in Polymer Dots to Boost Electrochemiluminescence Performance for Bioimaging of Glycan on Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study pioneers an aggregation‐induced resonance energy transfer mechanism by synergistically integrating aggregation‐induced emission (AIE), resonance energy transfer (RET), and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) within co‐reactant conjugated polymers to develop self‐enhanced ECL emitters, which achieves an ECL efficiency up to 92.6 ...

Orbital and Electrical Dual Function of Polymer Intercalant for Promoting NH4+ Storage in Vanadium Oxide Anode

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
The impact of polyaniline insertion on the atomic orbitals and electronic structure of vanadium oxide anode is systematically investigated for the first time. The electrode exhibits an outstanding capacity and unprecedent long‐term cycling life, owing to the electron transition to the V 3dxy state and the enhanced diffusion kinetics.

Antistaphylococcal Triazole-Based Molecular Hybrids: Design, Synthesis and Activity

open access: yesPharmaceuticals
Background: In the era of resistance, the design and search for new “small” molecules with a narrow spectrum of activity that target a protein or enzyme specific to a certain bacterium with high selectivity and minimal side effects remains an urgent ...

Monomers for thermosetting and toughening epoxy resins [PDF]

open access: yes
Eight glycidyl amines were prepared by alkylating the parent amine with epichlorohydrin to form chlorohydrin, followed by cyclization with aqueous NaOH. Three of these compounds contained propargyl groups with postcuring studies.
