Outer-sphere Anion-Anion Complexes

Mendeleev Communications, 1995
Bands resulting from contact outer-sphere anion-anion interactions, have been found in the electronic absorption spectra of systems containing simultaneously the anions [FeNO(CN) 5 ] 2– or [Co edta] – and nucleophilic anions ( I − , SC N − and S 2 O 3 2 − ) ; the fraction of complex anions occurring in the contact

Geometrically diverse anions in anion–π interactions

Supramolecular Chemistry, 2011
The role of different anion geometries in anion–π interactions is discussed. The chemistry described herein is different to the interaction of spherical cations with aromatics. The influence of different geometries makes selective anion recognition more complicated than respective cation sensing.

β-cyclodextrin polymers with different crosslinkers and ion exchange resins exhibit variable adsorption of anionic, zwitterionic, and non-ionic PFASs.

Environmental Science and Technology, 2020
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) occur in groundwater as mixtures of anionic, cationic, zwitterionic, and non-ionic species, though few remediation technologies have been evaluated to assess the removal of different types of PFASs.

Tuning Anionic Redox Activity and Reversibility for a High‐Capacity Li‐Rich Mn‐Based Oxide Cathode via an Integrated Strategy

Advanced Functional Materials, 2019
When fabricating Li‐rich layered oxide cathode materials, anionic redox chemistry plays a critical role in achieving a large specific capacity. Unfortunately, the release of lattice oxygen at the surface impedes the reversibility of the anionic redox ...
