Visual deficits in anisometropia
Amblyopia is usually associated with the presence of anisometropia, strabismus or both early in life. We set out to explore quantitative relationships between the degree of anisometropia and the loss of visual function, and to examine how the presence of strabismus affects visual function in observers with anisometropia.

Tolerance to surgically induced anisometropia-A systematic review. [PDF]
Abstract Surgically induced anisometropia is well tolerated by some individuals, while others experience binocular visual complaints. Surgically induced anisometropia is a common treatment for presbyopia and may also intentionally or non‐intentionally be the results after surgery for unilateral cataract with ametropia in the fellow eye.
