This review highlights protein lactylation as a metabolic‐epigenetic regulator linking lactate reprogramming to programmed cell death. By modulating histone and non‐histone targets, lactylation reshapes cell fate decisions and represents a promising biomarker and therapeutic target in human diseases.

ABSTRACT Background Conditioned pain modulation (CPM) is a human surrogate marker reflecting the net efficacy of descending noxious inhibitory and facilitatory control systems, but substantial variability exists. This multicenter study examined (1) associations between heat‐ and pressure‐based CPM outcomes, (2) associations between relative and ...

A self‐supervised deep learning model, Noise2Void (N2V), denoises near‐field high‐energy diffraction microscopy diffraction images without requiring unobtainable clean data. These images allow for lower segmentation thresholds and detection of smaller and weaker diffraction peaks, which are often discarded or overlooked with conventional image ...

Abstract This study develops an activity‐based inversion framework to quantify sectoral carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions using observations of co‐emitted air pollutants. It leverages distinct sectoral co‐emission profiles of nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and carbon monoxide (CO) to attribute sources and optimize sectoral activity‐rate ...

This study demonstrates that the novel 10B‐BPA‐based BNCT system, combined with an RFQ accelerator, effectively targets head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. It induces tumor regression safely and efficiently by triggering DNA damage and activating the ROS/HIF‐1α/NF‐κB pathway, leading to caspase‐3‐mediated apoptosis.
