Inhibition Effect of Alkaloids Extract from Annona Squamosa Plant on the Corrosion of C38 Steel in Normal Hydrochloric Acid Medium

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2010
In this work, an alkaloids extract from Annona squamosa plant have been studied as possible corrosion inhibitor for C38 steel in molar hydrochloric acid (1 M HCl). Potentiodynamic polarization and AC impedance methods have been used.

Alkaloids isolated from the leaves of atemoya (Annona cherimola×Annona squamosa)

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Farmacognosia, 2015
AbstractAtemoya is an interspecific annonaceous hybrid between Annona cherimola Mill. and Annona squamosa L. Its phytochemical investigation led to seven alkaloids, including two aporphine (anonaine and asimilobine), three oxoaporphine (lanuginosine, liriodenine and lysicamine) and two proaporphine (pronuciferine and stepharine).

INTODUCTION OF SEEDS OF Annona squamosa L.

open access: yes
Small and well-branched, Annona squamosa is a member of the Annonaceae family and produces delicious fruits known as sugar apples or sweetsops [1] Compared to Annona reticulata and Annona cherimola, it is more tolerant to the tropical lowland climate. It originated in tropical regions of India, the Americas, and the West Indies.
