Regioselective Twofold Annulation of Propargyl Acetates
The regioselective annulation of unsymmetrical alkynes has always been a focused research topic. A Pd-catalyzed double annulation of unsymmetrical alkynes (i.e., yne-acetates) with aryl diazonium salts for the synthesis of substituted naphthalene ...

Rh(III)‐Catalyzed [4 + 3] Annulation for Construction of Heterocycle‐Fused Azepines
Rhodium(III)‐catalyzed [4 + 3] annulation of 2‐arylquinazolinones with allyl ethers enables the facile synthesis of heterocycle‐fused azepines. This step‐economical protocol proceeds via CH and NH functionalization, accommodating diverse heteroatom‐ and polyaromatic‐substituted substrates to deliver structurally varied fused azepines efficiently and ...

Cyclic diaryliodonium salts engage aryl Grignard reagents to trigger a self‐propagating aryne–arylation cycle. Transient cyclic triaryliodanes serve as aryne precursors and dynamic aryl reservoirs, delivering iodine‐capped teraryls with predominant meta‐selectivity. The preserved C─I bond enables outward π‐extension or inward recyclization.
