Dyserythropoiesis and Annulate Lamellae

British Journal of Haematology, 1975
Summary. Cytoplasmic and intranuclear annulate lamellae in the erythroblasts from patients with dyserythropoietic anaemia (megaloblastic anaemia, dysplastic anaemia and erythroleukaemia) are described. Annulate lamellae have mainly been observed in oocytes, in embryonic tissues and in malignant cells.

Tetrathiafulvalene‐Annulated Subphthalocyanines

Chemistry – A European Journal, 2013
Peripheral expansion: A series of peripherally tetrathiafulvalene (TTF)-annulated subphthalocyanines was synthesized (see scheme). These compounds exhibited unique perturbed optical properties, such as a comparatively broad Q band absorption and gradual quenching of fluorescence upon increasing the number of TTF units, while electrochemical ...

Quinoline-Annulated Porphyrins

Organic Letters, 2011
Porphyrin-2,3-dione mono- and dioximes were used as starting materials for the efficient syntheses of mono- and bis-quinoline-annulated porphyrins and their corresponding N-oxides. Owing to an extended π-system, these novel porphyrinoid chromophores show significantly red-shifted UV-vis spectra compared to the parent porphyrins.

Chromene-Annulated Bacteriochlorins

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2016
Syntheses and optical properties of mono- and bis-chromene-annulated bacteriochlorins are described. Known monochromene-annulated meso-(pentafluorophenyl)chlorin is susceptible to a regioselective OsO4-mediated dihydroxylation, generating two monochromene-annulated trihydroxybacteriochlorin stereoisomers: either the newly introduced vic-cis-diol ...

The Annulate Lamellae

1970
Publisher Summary The existence of the annulate lamellae has been implied by polarization microscope studies and confirmed by electron microscopy. They have also been observed in embryonic and mature somatic cells as well as neoplastic cells of various types.

Annulling The Annulment: More On Contracts And Treaties

2010
Four camps have been identified in comments concerning the approaches taken by recent decisions on the umbrella clause. The first examines whether it has been the intention of the parties to the instrument containing the umbrella clause to make the breach of contract a treaty breach.

A Modular Cyclopentene Annulation

Organic Letters
We report a modular three-component annulation among propargyl zinc reagents, unsaturated 1,3-dicarbonyls, and electrophiles to enable rapid construction of highly substituted cyclopentenes. In addition to optimization studies, a range of substrates were investigated. These products can be readily diversified to highlight their synthetic utility.

Review beyond Annulment

Abstract The chapter introduces and assesses different types of so-called post-award remedies that are of practical relevance in international investment arbitration. In particular, it covers requests for correction and rectification, requests for additional awards and supplementary decisions, requests for interpretations, as well as ...
