Flash Pyrolysis – Synthetic and Mechanistic Aspects
Some examples of synthetically useful flash pyrolysis reactions are presented, and the reaction mechanisms are discussed. Cyanocyclopentadienes, -indenes, and -pyrroles are produced by pyrolysis of the appropriate triazoloarenes or isatins, or as the ...

Expanded porphyrins, with their flexible structures and rich redox chemistry, offer a powerful platform to explore how aromaticity shapes molecular properties. This review introduces a multidimensional framework to quantify Hückel and Möbius aromaticity and examines its impact on the spectroscopic behavior across redox‐ and topology‐controlled expanded

Reversal of Clar's Aromatic‐Sextet Rule in Ultrashort Single‐End‐Capped [5,5] Carbon Nanotubes
The three‐fold HOMO‐LUMO gap oscillation, typical of finite length armchair carbon nanotubes (CNT), has a major effect on the magnetic response of ultrashort, single‐end‐capped [5,5] carbon nanotubes to a perturbing magnetic field parallel to the main ...

Mott Transition in the Hubbard model
In this article, I discuss W.Kohn's criterion for a metal insulator transition, within the framework of a one band Hubbard model. This and related ideas are applied to 1-dimensional Hubbard systems, and some intersting miscellaneous results discussed ...

This study provides the first experimental evidence of Thuja sutchuenensis essential oil (TEO) toxicity, with an oral LD50 of ~3800 mg/kg in mice. Sub‐LD50 doses cause focal hepatic necrosis via apoptosis/oxidative stress–related pathways without systemic inflammation or renal injury.
