We present a new algorithm for anomaly detection called Anomaly Awareness. The algorithm learns about normal events while being made aware of the anomalies through a modification of the cost function. We show how this method works in different Particle Physics situations and in standard Computer Vision tasks.

Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome is typically a complex combined capillary-lymphatic-venous malformation in lower limb. Gastrointestinal involvement is not infrequent in Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome. Rectal bleeding is the most common complication.

Introduction: Extrusion of azoles from the cell, mediated by an efflux pump Cdr1, is one of the most frequently used strategies for developing azole resistance in pathogenic fungi. The efflux pump Cdr1 is predominantly localized in lipid rafts within the

Saliencycut: Augmenting Plausible Anomalies for Anomaly Detection
Anomaly detection under open-set scenario is a challenging task that requires learning discriminative fine-grained features to detect anomalies that were even unseen during training. As a cheap yet effective approach, data augmentation has been widely used to create pseudo anomalies for better training of such models.

Anomaly Detection with Partially Observed Anomalies [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the problem of anomaly detection. Previous studies mostly deal with this task in either supervised or unsupervised manner according to whether label information is available. However, there always exists settings which are different from the two standard manners.
