Anomalous far-field polarization around bound states in the continuum in non-Bravais lattices.
Optics LettersIt is generally believed that at-Γ bound states in the continuum (BICs) are enclosed by a linearly polarized vortex in momentum space when the structures have mirror (σz) symmetry, in-plane inversion (I) symmetry, and time reversal symmetry (T). Here, we

It has been proposed that delusional beliefs are attempts to explain anomalous experiences. Why, then, do anomalous experiences induce delusions in some people but not in others? One possibility is that people with delusions have reasoning biases that result in them failing to reject implausible candidate explanations for anomalous experiences.

NVC is thought to reflect the interrelationship between nutrient demand and supply, whereby neuronal activity influences local changes in blood flow. Injuries to the NVU could be the crucial point to CSVD, but the mechanisms remain obscure. This is the first study investigating CSVD from the perspective of the NVC at the whole brain, modular and ...

We use the system of p-adic numbers for the description of information processes. Basic objects of our models are so-called transformers of information, basic processes are information processes and statistics are information statistics (thus we present a model of information reality).

Abstract Conventional authoring languages are no more than delivery systems for instruction. Authors need a way of representing their underlying knowledge structures so that: (a) they know the relationship between concepts and therefore they do not make unwarranted leaps or linkages between them; and (b) end‐users can see at a global level the ...
