Thermodynamics of Anomalous Diffusion
Physical Review Letters, 1995It is pointed out that the generalized statistical mechanics introduced by Tsallis [J. Stat. Phys. 52, 479 (1988)] provides a natural frame for developing a thermodynamical formalism of anomalous diffusion. Within such a frame, we calculate the mean square displacement as a function of time and generalize the Einstein relation of diffusivity and ...

Anomalous diffusion in ferrofluids
Physical Review E, 2009By dynamic light scattering we have studied suspensions of ferrimagnetic maghemite (gamma-Fe2O3) nanoparticles in n -decane with attractive interparticle interaction. The measurements in the suspensions of different concentrations ranging from 0.21 to 25.8 wt % have been compared in zero external field and in the magnetic field of 270 mT.

We introduce a novel two-component random network. Unit resistors are placed at random along the bonds of a pure superconducting linear chain, with the distance $l$ between successive resistors being chosen from the distribution $P(l)\ensuremath{\sim}{l}^{\ensuremath{-}(\ensuremath{\alpha}+1)}$ where $\ensuremath{\alpha}g0$ is a tunable parameter.

Influence of the environment on anomalous diffusion
Physical Review E, 1995We study the effect of weak environmental fluctuations on a deterministic map dynamics, which, in the unperturbed case, is characterized by anomalous diffusion. We show, with the help of numerical calculations, that there is a crossover time 1/\ensuremath{\epsilon}, at which the waiting time distributions change from an inverse power-law distribution ...

Anomalous collective diffusion
Physical Review Letters, 1994A new region characterized by Levy diffusion exists in collective motion between the adiabaic and diabatic limits. Repeated chaotic scattering off of level crossings, whose repulsive or attractive nature changes dynamically, can result in localization of the collective motion for arbitrarily periods of time, and anomalous diffusion.

Anomalous Diffusion on the Percolating Networks
Fractals, 1997According to the standard diffusion equation, by introducing reasonably into an anomalous diffusion coefficient, the generalized diffusion equation, which describes anomalous diffusion on the percolating networks with a power-law distribution of waiting times, is derived in this paper. This solution of the generalized diffusion equation is obtained by

Multienergy Anomalous Diffuse Scattering
Physical Review Letters, 2008A new approach to local structure determination is presented. A three-dimensional region of the reciprocal space of a SrTiO(3) single crystal was mapped by measuring x-ray diffuse scattering patterns at different sample orientations in order to reconstruct the local atomic structure.
