Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Unravelling the origins of anomalous diffusion: From molecules to migrating storks
Anomalous diffusion or, more generally, anomalous transport, with nonlinear dependence of the mean-squared displacement on the measurement time, is ubiquitous in nature.

In situ synchrotron high‐energy X‐ray diffraction reveals the real‐time high‐temperature phase evolution of a ternary V‐9Si‐6.5B alloy. The study uncovers a kinetically delayed V5SiB2 → V8SiB4 transformation governed by massive structural and chemical barriers.

Semantic segmentation of anomalous diffusion using deep convolutional networks
Heterogeneous dynamics commonly emerges in anomalous diffusion with intermittent transitions of diffusion states but proves challenging to identify using conventional statistical methods. To effectively capture these transient changes of diffusion states,

Diffusion equations and different spatial fractional derivatives
We investigate for the diffusion equation the differences manifested by the solutions when three different types of spatial differential operators of noninteger (or fractional) order are considered for a limited and unlimited region.

Deep‐UV (258 nm) femtosecond pulses enable uniform amorphous silicon writing on Si(100)/(111) with a six‐fold larger fluence amorphization window than NIR methods. Optimized fluence and overlap yield 20–45 nm uniform and continuous amorphous layers. Microscopy shows sharp interfaces, and real‐time reflectivity reveals nanosecond melt–resolidification ...

A Physics-Informed Surrogate Model for the Bi-Flux Bevilacqua–Galeão Anomalous Diffusion Equation
Accurate modeling of bi-flux anomalous diffusion presents significant computational challenges in engineering. This paper investigates the effectiveness of physics-informed neural networks as surrogate models for the bi-flux anomalous diffusion equation.

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...
