Design, Control, and Clinical Applications of Magnetic Actuation Systems: Challenges and Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
This review aims to provide a broad understanding for interdisciplinary researchers in engineering and clinical applications. It addresses the development and control of magnetic actuation systems (MASs) in clinical surgeries and their revolutionary effects in multiple clinical applications.

Seiberg–Witten map and quantum phase effects for neutral Dirac particle on noncommutative plane

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We provide a new approach to study the noncommutative effects on the neutral Dirac particle with anomalous magnetic or electric dipole moment on the noncommutative plane.

Tau weak dipole moments from azimuthal asymmetries

open access: yes, 1998
We show that transverse and normal single-$tau$ polarization of $tau$ pairs produced at $e^+$ $e^-$ unpolarized collisions, at the $Z$ peak, are sensitive to weak (magnetic and electric) dipole moments of the $tau$.

Effects of anomalous magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of the charged weak boson on (g−2)μ

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1985
Abstract We calculate the effect on the muon anomaly of anomalous magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of the charged weak boson and discuss the constraints on those quantities derived from the experimental data.

Hybrid Type-II and Type-III seesaw model for the muon g − 2 anomaly

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
In this work we investigate the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment aμ in a model that extends the Standard Model with a scalar triplet and a lepton triplet.

CP-odd static electromagnetic properties of the W gauge boson and the t quark via the anomalous tbW coupling

open access: yes, 2007
In the framework of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian, the one-loop induced effects of the anomalous $tbW$ coupling, which includes both left- and right-handed complex components, on the static electromagnetic properties of the $W$ boson and the $t ...

Geophysical Investigations at the Artemision at Amarynthos of Euboea (Greece)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A combination of resistivity mapping and three‐dimensional electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) was used to investigate the subsurface of the sanctuary of Artemis Amarysia in Amarynthos, Euboea (Greece), an area where archaeological remains from the Bronze Age to the post‐Byzantine period are preserved.

Optimal observable to measure the imaginary component of the τ anomalous weak-magnetic dipole moment

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1997
The feasibility of measuring the imaginary component of the τ anomalous weak-magnetic dipole moment (aτW) is discussed. From a sample of data comparable to that obtained in the period 90–95 by one of the LEP experiments the expected error in the anomalous weak-magnetic dipole moment for the π−π+, π±ϱ∓ and ϱ−ϱ+ final states is estimated to be |Im(aτW)| <

Detection of interictal epileptiform discharges using multiple bilateral insertions of a newly developed microcatheter‐compatible endovascular electroencephalogram electrode: A clinical feasibility trial

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To assess the feasibility, technical performance, and safety of a novel endovascular electroencephalogram (eEEG) electrode, EP‐01, designed for minimally invasive seizure localization in patients with drug‐resistant epilepsy. Methods This single‐center, prospective, exploratory trial enrolled five patients with drug‐resistant ...

Hydrogen Halide Gas Sensors: Active Materials, Operation Principles, and Emerging Technologies

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Materials, EarlyView.
This review considers hydrogen halide (HX) gas sensors across functional materials and principles: acoustic, chemical, optical and nanophotonic. The strong acidity and reactivity of HX gases are discussed as constraints for stability and selectivity of these devices.
