1 W Single‐Mode Large‐Area Edge‐Emitting Laser via Non‐Hermitian Spatial Mode Filtering
Laser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.We demonstrate a non‐Hermitian spatial mode filtering approach for achieving high‐power single‐mode operation in large‐area edge‐emitting laser diodes. By symmetrically coupling passive filter arrays to the main lasing waveguide, higher‐order transverse modes are effectively suppressed while preserving the fundamental mode.

Spatially Uniform and Defect‐Tolerant Plasmonic Responses in 3D Printed Gold Nanoparticle Assemblies
Laser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.We introduce 3D nanoprinting of gold nanoparticle assemblies and show that their broad optical responses remain reproducible despite structural disorder. This robustness is attributed to ensemble‐averaged plasmonic responses from many local coupling regions.
