A Novel Clustering Algorithm with Ant Colony Optimization
2008 IEEE Pacific-Asia Workshop on Computational Intelligence and Industrial Application, 2008Clustering analysis is an important area of data mining. A kind of new clustering algorithm with ant colony optimization based on cluster center initialization is proposed in this paper. The new algorithm gives initialized cluster centers by different methods, then solves clustering problems by iterated method.

Ant Colony Optimization Algorithms for Shortest Path Problems
2009We propose four variants of recently proposed multi-timescale algorithm in [1] for ant colony optimization and study their application on a multi-stage shortest path problem. We study the performance of the various algorithms in this framework. We observe, that one of the variants consistently outperforms the algorithm [1].
