We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

In this work, a novel dual-hop relay-assisted hybrid free space optical/radio frequency (FSO/RF) communication system is presented. In this system, RF signal is transmitted from two antennas, and then forwarded by a single antenna relay through FSO ...

Power Profile-Based Antenna Selection for Millimeter Wave MIMO With an All-Planar Lens Antenna Array
Lens antenna arrays can significantly reduce the number of radio frequency (RF) chains and provide a cost-effective beamforming approach to millimeter-wave massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems.

Capacity of MIMO Channels With Antenna Selection [PDF]
This correspondence studies the capacity of multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) channels in the presence of antenna selection. Antenna selection reduces the complexity of the radio devices and requires only a small amount of channel state feedback. For high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), we define excess rate as the constant term in the expansion of ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Frequency selective surface loaded antenna for direct antenna modulation [PDF]
A reconfigurable antenna loaded with Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) to achieve direct antenna phase modulation is presented and simulated. Placing FSS with integrated varactor diodes into a monopole-fed cavity allows control of the transmitted phase of a carrier signal with a bias voltage.

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
