Diurnal change of anterior chamber depth in rabbits

Acta Ophthalmologica Scandinavica, 1995
ABSTRACT It has been shown that there is a circadian rhythm of intraocular pressure and aqueous humor flow in rabbits. It has also been shown that there is a fluctuation in the volume of the aqueous that can be aspirated from the anterior chamber at different times of day.

Effects of Atropine on Anterior Chamber Depth and Anterior Chamber Inflammation After Primary Trabeculectomy

Journal of Glaucoma, 2000
To investigate the effects of postoperative atropine on central and peripheral anterior chamber depth and anterior chamber inflammation in patients undergoing primary trabeculectomy. Two separate groups of patients who were phakic without previous intraocular surgery undergoing primary trabeculectomy were prospectively randomized to atropine or no ...

Measuring anterior chamber depth with the Orbscan Topography System

Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, 1997
To assess the reliability of the Orbscan Topography System in measuring anterior chamber depth (ACD).Department of Ophthalmology, Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany. The Orbscan Topography System is a 3-D, scanning slit beam system for analyzing corneal surfaces as well as structures of the anterior segment, e.g., iris, lens ...

Anterior chamber depths of Nigerians.

Annals of ophthalmology, 1977
Anterior chamber depths of 1,646 eyes of 823 Nigerians were measured to determine the distribution of chamber depths in Nigerians, and to compare the findings with previous observations in Caucasians. The persons examined included normal subjects and other groups with ocular pathology, such as glaucoma. The mean chamber depth in normal persons was 3.23

[The anterior chamber depth after trabeculectomy].

[Zhonghua yan ke za zhi] Chinese journal of ophthalmology, 1993
The anterior chamber depth was measured with the Haag-Streit Pachymeter in 26 cases (33 eyes) of primary angle-closure glaucoma preoperatively and postoperatively on days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 30, 45 and 60. After successful trabeculectomy, the anterior chamber depth became shallower, particularly on days 2 to 4 postoperative, and then ...

Prediction of artificial anterior chamber depth.

Ophthalmic surgery, 1981
Seventy-six patients undergoing cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation were examined prospectively to evaluate the accuracy of a photogrammetric method for estimating postoperative anterior chamber depth and the predictive value of preoperative anterior chamber depth on postoperative anterior chamber depth. The photogrammetric method was

ANTERIOR CHAMBER DEPTH IN GREENLAND ESKIMOS

Acta Ophthalmologica, 1974
A population study of the anterior chamber depth (ACD) was performed in 1,575 Greenland Eskimos, using optical pachymetry (Haag Streit 900). From six separate districts 1,072 Eskimos over the age of forty were examined. The participation rate ranged from 82–98%;. The geographical variation was found to be relatively small.
