Subcutaneous or Submuscular Anterior Transposition of the Ulnar Nerve?
Journal of Hand Surgery, 1992Precise clinical and electroneurographic examinations were made of 51 patients before and after anterior transposition of the ulnar nerve. The mean follow-up period was 9.6 years. In 86%, hand function improved, while in 10% it remained unchanged. Subcutaneous transposition was better than submuscular transposition, especially with regard to sensation.

Modified anterior transposition of the inferior oblique muscle
Journal of American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, 2018To introduce a modified method of anterior transposition of inferior oblique (ATIO) and compare with traditional method in terms of efficacy and complications. The medical records of patients who had undergone unilateral ATIO and were followed for at least 6 months were reviewed retrospectively. The patients were divided into two groups according to the

Posterior transposition of anterior ectopic anus
Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 1991A method of posterior transposition of anterior ectopic anus is described in which the ectopic anus is incorporated in one flap of a Z-plasty. When the flaps are transposed the anus is brought into its normal anatomical position with the added advantages that the mucocutaneous junction and part of the innervation and the blood supply are preserved. The

Anterior Transposition of the Radial Nerve-A Cadaveric Study
Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, 2008The radial nerve is at risk during the posterior plating of the humerus. The purpose of this anatomic study was to assess the extent of radial nerve dissection required for anterior transposition through the fracture site (transfracture anterior transposition).A cadaver study was conducted approaching the humerus by a posterior midline incision.

Anterior Transposition of the Inferior Oblique
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1992Anterior transposition of the inferior oblique insertion has been described as an effective procedure for weakening the inferior oblique and for decreasing dissociated vertical deviation. It has been postulated that this occurs by converting the inferior oblique muscle from an elevator to a depressor.

THE ANATOMY OF ULNAR NERVE BRANCHES IN ANTERIOR TRANSPOSITION
Hand Surgery, 2013Cubital tunnel syndrome is the second most common nerve entrapment neuropathy. When non-operative treatments fail, surgical intervention is indicated. Although there remains no consensus between simple decompression and anterior transposition, there is a growing recognition of improved clinical outcomes in the latter.

Anterior Transposition in Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
2019Anterior transposition for cubital tunnel syndrome consists of the surgical decompression of the ulnar nerve followed by movement of the nerve anterior to its native retrocondylar location relative to the medial epicondyle. Three different types of anterior transposition have been described, including subcutaneous, intramuscular, and submuscular ...

Anatomic basis of serratus anterior muscle flap transposition
Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy, 1988In order to explore the possibility of serratus anterior muscle (SAM) flap transposition in head, neck and thoracic surgery, we performed an anatomic study including 40 dissections of the muscle's vascular pedicle, the subscapular-thoracodorsal axis, which is a branch of the axillary artery.
