Repair of long segmental ulnar nerve defects in rats by several different kinds of nerve transposition

open access: yesNeural Regeneration Research, 2019
Multiple regeneration of axonal buds has been shown to exist during the repair of peripheral nerve injury, which confirms a certain repair potential of the injured peripheral nerve.

Results of Anterior Transposition of the Ulnar Nerve for Ulnar Neuritis [PDF]

open access: yesBMJ, 1970
A clinical and electrophysiological followup study was done on 23 patients with ulnar neuritis treated by surgical transposition of the nerve at the elbow. Pain was relieved in all those affected and other sensory symptoms showed some degree of improvement in most.

Surgery for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome: A Comparative Study of Small Incision with Classic Anterior Nerve Transposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Objective:  To evaluate the clinical outcomes of ulnar neuropathy, and cubital tunnel syndrome (CuTS) surgery via a small incision with that of anterior transposition of the ulnar nerve.

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Facial Nerve Function after Anterior Transposition of Facial Nerve [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Background and Objectives:The transposition of the facial nerve is an essential procedure to obtain optimal surgical field and to remove the lesion completely when the tumor is located medial to the facial nerve.

Anterior and nasal transposition of inferior oblique muscle

open access: yesTNOA Journal of Ophthalmic Science and Research, 2021
We report the case of a 20-year-old woman who presented with residual esotropia, dissociated vertical deviation (DVD), and inferior oblique over-action (IOOA) who underwent horizontal rectus muscle surgery and anterior and nasal transposition of the ...

The role of ulnar nerve subcutaneous anterior transposition during open reduction and internal fixation of distal humerus fractures: a retrospective cohort study

open access: yes, 2022
Purpose To compare the rates of ulnar nerve neuropathy following ulnar nerve subcutaneous anterior transposition versus no transposition during open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of distal humerus fractures.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...
